CUCAMARAS

Following on from the success of their two releases and busy live schedule in 2021, Cucamaras are ready to take a step up in 2022, with their new single, ‘Winner’s Chapel’. The track forms part of their EP, ‘Soft Soap’, which will be released later this year. The band, formed of Josh Hart, Olly Bowley, Dan McGrath and Joe Newton have developed a strong interest from their local scene in Nottingham, selling out The Bodega, in October 2021.
Taking inspiration from acts such as Fontaines D.C., Parquet Courts and Car Seat Headrest, Cucamaras’ latest EP demonstrates the expansion of the band’s direction. ‘Soft Soap’ also provides a peak into the future of Cucamaras, with further releases expected later in the year with accompanying shows to be announced.

FALCON AND THE FEATHERWEIGHTS

Rock nerveux ou sensible, la recette du son "FFW" tient à un subtil mélange de psychédélisme sixties, de grunge caustique et de ballades teintées au jazz de Django Reinhardt, sans oublier une patte blues discrète.
Ce son, associé à des textes corrosifs, forme l’univers de ce power trio parisien, dont les membres semblent s’être bien trouvés : Nicolas Falcon (batterie/chant), Emmanuel (guitare) et Dwight (basse) parlent le même langage, celui d’un rock brut de décoffrage et efficace, qu’ils sont impatients de vous faire redécouvrir ou bien expérimenter !
