A multifaceted creative heralded from Baltimore, Lauren Ruth Ward‘s lyrics are bloodletting poems drenched in raspy power. Ward recently wrapped their second successful headlining EU/UK Tour in celebration of their “Mindseye” EP. In preparation for non-stop touring and release schedule this 2024, they've spent most of 2023 writing with various producers such as Charlie Brand (Miniature Tigers), Doug Schadt (Maggie Rogers), David Davis (Miguel, War On Drugs), Louie Diller (Holy Child), Jacob Michael (Foreign Air), and the list goes on. This October 12th, listen to a taste of their new sonic chapter by way of a hypnotic, grunge-cheer anthem called “S E L F L O V E”. And of course, feast on the contagious empowerment of LRW’s political battlecries and must see (again and again) maniacal stage expressions.
