À propos
BAD BREEDING
(Noise punk - UK)
"If you haven’t heard Bad Breeding’s Divide, it is 26 minutes of grueling, noise-punctured punk that channels and couples the rage of Crass to the weirdness of Killing Joke and No Trend. Released in 2017, it was the second album in two years from the U.K. punk band.
Included with Divide was an essay, written by the band’s friend and collaborator Jake Farrell entitled “An End to Silence” — a fervent political tract that calls out the movement to silence “dissent or plurality of thought,” specifically post-Brexit. In its zine-like presentation, Bad Breeding calls back to the political writing of Crass’ vitriolic sounding board Penny Rimbaud, using an old-school means to scream a current and urgent message not just to Britain, but to a world putting up walls."

M(H)AOL
(Post-punk - Tulle - Londres, UK)
"Irish intersectional feminist post-punk band M(h)aol are Róisín Nic Ghearailt, Constance Keane, Jamie Hyland, Zoe Greenway, and Sean Nolan. Gaining a name for their urgent and immersive sounds that question our past, present, and future, the band challenge the climate of male-dominated post-punk.
2020 saw the release of single ‘Laundries’, to acclaim across the UK and Ireland, with The Quietus calling it “more than enough to leave a vital mark”. Their next release ‘Asking For It’, saw the band “pushing forward in this fight for justice and deserve to be heard, their message ringing out loud and clear” (So Young), while raising vital funds for Women’s Aid.
M(h)aol will release their debut EP Gender Studies on October 29th digitally and January 14th physically via TULLE."

PURRS
